Exploring new frontiers, literally.

While the international market is not always favorable to Quebec businesses, Globco is proud to announce its recent acquisition of an American company, Northern Customs Services, a customs brokerage firm at the Canada-U.S. border.

This acquisition will allow Globco to strengthen its turnkey service offered to businesses looking to import and export their goods in North America.

In addition to getting services from a local firm, entrepreneurs will benefit from the in-depth knowledge of the US regulations and territory offered by the team already in place with our neighbours south of the border.

A big step for the company and its partners

This recent acquisition is a major milestone for Globco as it allows the firm to assert itself in the transportation industry and demonstrate regional expertise in the field.

“In this period of economic uncertainty, Globco is doing well and intends to seize all relevant opportunities that come its way in order to offer even more to its clients,” says Mr. Julien Prost, Globco CEO.

The news has been well received within the team, both in Lévis and Niagara Falls, N.Y., where the new division is located. “We are extremely fortunate to be able to count on their collaboration and openness. Moreover, this approval from the staff further strengthens our strategic planning and reiterates our desire for growth and evolution for Globco,” adds Mr. Prost.

Globco is not lacking project ideas, and the current leadership is far from resting on its laurels, constantly aiming to provide businesses with more brokerage and transportation services to ensure the flow of their goods in North America and internationally.
